a little birthday music, maestro, please
Dec. 16th, 2009 11:09 amHappy Birthday To Me!
I'm Now Past Thirty!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday!
Time To Become A Cat Lady!
AND MANY MOOOAAAARRRR! (kittehs, that is. furry gold. LOLcat city.)
Wrote that myself, I did. Genius, pure genius.
In honor of my birthday, I have already prepared and devoured Eggs Benedict. For lunch, I will have lemon pudding cake. No, nothing else. Just cake.
The inevitable stroke and/or heart attack will be worth it.
I opened my Etsy shop on December 5 (there's a little shop widget at the top of this journal). I had some vague idea of a post to, you know, commemorate that, but I didn't do it. So I do it now! With pictures of my little Artsy Fartsy Corner.
(clicking on the pictures should go to the web album - theoretically - I embedded a slideshow because when I tried to embed the album it gave me scroll bars that I could not get rid of, and they irritated the crap out of me, and I am far too lazy to individually link each picture)
I continue to commemorate the occasion of my most fabulous birth with - what else - a movie marathon. It was going to be All Kevin Smith, but I've lost my copy of Dogma somewhere, and it's my favorite, so I went with Good Sci Fi instead. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Solaris, Blade Runner. After that, I might eat some sort of vegetable so I don't die of a sugar overdose, and then we'll see what else I've got waiting in my boxee queue. ETA: I didn't even realize that both Arthur C. Clarke and Philip K. Dick were born on December 16 as well! How apropos.
